Sigil is a symbol, mostly in geometric forms. House magick,Sigil magick, Hermetic order og Golden Dawn use it. Symbol is language of subsciousness. For example the banishing ritual of pentagram posted by me here is created from protective sigils and with your intent they are absorbed in your subsciousness and it's proggraming. Make sense?

A sigil is a symbol.
Some people arrange the letters in the alphabet
A-E on one line
F-J on the second line
L-O on the third line, etc
Then they place a transparency (usually clear plastic, glass, or waxed paper) over the grid and draw a line to connect the letters in the word like Peace, Protect, etc They place a circle at the beginning of the line. Some place an arrow head at the end of the line.
After they have the design they transfer the design to something more permanent, Some even draw protective sigils on the door and windows of their home.
The Hex signs in the dutch area of Pennsylvania are also sigils.
