Pali Jae Lee - Ho'Opono

I liked the book (the parts that I managed to read so far) and will be acquiring the other titles from the author.

Some of the controversial claims in the book are:

Huna has little or nothing of anything Hawaiian in it.

No one really is anymore (a kahuna).

She unfolds a theory that MFL was "lying" knowingly (that his use of terms like aumakua, unihipili etc. was corrected by prof. Beckley, but MFL responded by saying that his audience would not know the difference).

She claims to have done research in Brigham's daily journal (she was a librarian), he wrote about a lot of tiny details and was meticulous about keeping it, but there is no mention of meeting with MFL anywhere.

Despite of that, she was a member of Huna Research, and speaker on their conferences, and I felt she is held in high respect in Huna community.

I really liked her book "Tales Of the Night Rainbow"

quote:

No one really is anymore (a kahuna).

That is true officially; but there are some people with skills that mark them as not quite human. I fit in that category.

When I was 3 I knew how to send my mana into the ground and anchor me in place making it impossible to my older relatives to pick me up.

I discovered clairsentience about the same time.

at 5 my clairaudience kicked in, and at 6 my clairvoyance kicked in, and about the same time I learned that I had power over the wind, and could call the fish to my bait, and make them ignore the bait of the person who was fishing with me.

For most of my life; I felt as if God left me on the wrong planet!
