Does the unihipili take EVERYTHING personally?

Aloha.

I have several times came across the concept that the unihipili takes everything we say about someone else, personally. So this means if I insult or criticise someone, my uni will react as if I had been putting myself down.

With this in mind, it is common occurence in the area of England I live in for people to insult each other (by people I mean friends, family etc, not strangers) but in a friendly way with nothing but humour and good will in mind. It is very difficult for me to explain this for those who are outside of this particular culture.
As an example that I hope you can relate to: I had a friend use a little too much 'fake tanning lotion' which turned him an amusing orange colour. When I saw him, I remarked how similar he looked to an oompa loompa (charlie and the chocolate factory).

Now because my intention was just meant for humour, to make him laugh, would my uni take this as an insult simply because the words appear to be an insult? Considering it's a very common occurence for me to make jokes like that (and for others in this region to do the same) be it based on hair colour, height, etc, I need to know if these things, despite having only the intent of making the other person laugh, could have a negative effect (on my uni or the other person's).

I hope I have presented my question clearly, and my apologies if I have not!

Many blessings,

Craig

Yes the uni takes things literally and personally because the uni is still animanistic, and has not grown enough to take on the outlook of being impersonal.

The uni is growing to evolve into the level of uhane, the uhane is evolving into becoming an 'aumakua, and the 'aumakua is also evolving to higher states of being.

Aloha Two Bears,

I realise that the unihipili is animalistic by nature but by this measure that would mean that even singing song lyrics which have any kind of negative theme would lead to the uni taking what is being sang personally?

Does this mean that INTENTION has absolutley no bearing on how the unihipili reacts?

Obviously we speak of the unihipili in a seperate manner but in reality it is just part of one whole and with it being part of us how can it not understand the difference between negative speech and singing (especially considering the fact that if we are singing it usually means we like that particular song and the liking of the song comes directly from the uni itself).

I realise I am getting very detailed here but I want to get all of the benefits out of applying Huna to my life and therefore I feel it is important for me to be aware of this kind of information.

Mahalo nui loa,

Craig

intentionality takes place at the uhane level. the Unihipili has not evolved sufficiently enough to understand intentionality.

Sorry for not being around foe a while; but I have been VERY busy of late.
