Controlling The Emotions

Aloha!
I have a question about controlling the emotions. Having read references in both Dr. Lewis' and Dr.Wilkerson's books about it,there does not seem to be any discussion of details, just the importance of emotional control. Are they talking about putting emotional power behind intention for rituals,or controlling the thoughts to eliminate negative ego, or all of the above plus some? One of the fixations of my Unihipili is that I think I'm doing it wrong(whatever "it" might be), so some discussion on this would be helpful. Mahalo.
Also, I would like to report that I made it through the chapter a week lesson plan for Dr. Lewis' book. The results are truly wonderful! I know that I'm still retraining my Uni, but in working the chapters I feel that I have identified and adressed all of the complexes and fixations available at this time. The section on this message board about resistence has been very supportive for the next phase of retraining.
I did the Pillar Of Light ritual for the first time a few days ago, then invited my Aumakua in. I had an energetic experience that was amazing!
Previous to this I did not do any prayer actions, because I thought my Uni was to gummed up with complexes and fixations. Now, things are so much better in my life that my list of personal prayer actions is much smaller. This is a truly beautiful spiritual technology, and I give Profound Thanks and Praises to my Aumakua for leading me to these teachings and this community.
Love and Blessings,K

There are two things to consider with emotions, and I am not completely sure I understand your question; so I will go into both aspects.

a. emotions are powerful, and CAN be dynamic when you prayer pictures evoke emotions in your unihipili.

b. Many times complexes and fixations are associated with emotions, and the uni becomes accustomed or addicted to the feelings of emotions. Unfortunately; many of the complexes and fixations are tied into negative emotions like anger, fear, doubt, etc. Working to clear the complexes and fixations will change the way you think consciously and subconsciously. When you free yourself from the complexes and fixations; you will be free to experience any emotions you want instead of being addicted to negative emotions.

Congrats! You are showing more wisdom than you think. Most people want to go straight through a book instead of taking time to test and evaluate.

Congrats! I am very happy for you. I would recommend you do the pillar of light meditation every day. Calling in the light is a good way to start the day.

No disagreements from me. This technology literally saved my life.

FYI. There are many meditations that are similar to the pillar of light.

There is the Kabbalist "the middle pillar", there is the Buddhist "Being of light meditation" (in this; the meditator visualizes a light over their head descending to the solar plexus and expanding to radiate light through the body). There is Actualism meditation, and shamans meditate in the morning by deep breathing and visualizing the lungs being filled with light, and this light comtinues to spread through the body, and Druids visualized a ball of light over their head that moves to the front of the body and radiating light through your body as if there was a second sun.

All of those meditations are safe except for the Middle Pillar. The middle pillar overstimulates four of the chakras. The other methods just lets the light pass through without manipulating anything.

To control your emotions-negative I think, first relax your body and become aware of the negative emotions and dont identify with them and be more in the present moment-here and now. This is my experience. I hope that helps. / Credits Serge Kahili King and Dick Sutphen /

Another good post. Have you tried the practise of "The Five Mahalos"? I call "The Five Mahalos" Buddhist mindfulness on steroids.
