Dizziness During Ha Rite
Has anyone experienced dizziness while doing the Ha rite? I become very light-headed, so much so that I have to do it sitting instead, or more often, lying down.
Am I maybe doing the breathing incorrectly?

Aloha nui loa Dee; my sister.
I have three questions.
1. Are you a shallow breather.
If so; your body will take a while to get
used to the increased amount of oxygen in
your blood stream.
If so; this will pass as your body
adjusts to the increased amount of oxygen.
It takes time for the body to adjust.
2. Are you building the mana surcharge
inside your body.
Many HUNA authors recommend building
surcharges in the body. I do not
recommend building surcharges inside the
body because mana could affect things
such as your heart rate, etc. I recommend
building the surcharges between the hands
because this way you do not run the risk
of overloading the body's pathways.
If you feel uncomfortable doing a ha rite
(burning, pain, nervousness, etc). stop
the ha rite; send the mana into the space
between your hands, and visualize your
prayer picture and send the prayer action
to the higher powers, and either go eat a
bite of cheese, a sandwich (this will
concentrate the oxygen in the stomach and
aid digestion), or take a walk around the
block.
3. If you build a surcharge between hands;
are your fingers allowed to touch one
another, or fingers on the other hand?
There are energy pathways that end on
some of the fingers. If you allow the
fingers to come in contact with one
another; this creates a short circuit,
and allowing the mana surcharge to drain
back inside your body (where you don't
want it).
I hope this helps.

Oh, yes, definitely. I have caught myself at times actually forgetting to breathe, especially if I'm at rest (like watching TV).

I don't know - I don't think so. I position my hands the way you described on your website. My elbows and upper arms touch the sides of my body, but my fingers don't touch. Once or twice I noticed my heart-rate increasing and I became a bit jittery. I stopped and walked around the house before returning to the Ha Rite, and then I layed down to do it.

Yes it did, very much. Thanks again, Two Bears

It sounds as if you are accustomed to not having much oxygen in your blood stream.
In this case; do the ha rites while sitting down. I would not be good to become dizzy and fall while doing a ha rite.

It sounds as if the mana had entered your body on these occasions. I also need to tell you that energy follows thought. so when you do your ha rites also keep your mind focused on the ha rite between your hands until you send the prayer picture and mana surcharge up to your 'Aumakua.

VERY good! that is exactly what you should have done.

You are quite welcome.
If I may be of further assistance; just ask.
