Projecting/Reading thoughts.

Aloha Two Bears. I have been working on bringing my three selves into harmony. Since I have started on this path I am noticing an increased amount of moments where my wife verbalizes something that I am thinking. I am curious; how does one know if you are reading thoughts or projecting them or if someone is projecting thoughts into you?

It sounds as if your wife is very sensitive, and is picking up on your thoughts

Animals and small children are notorious for picking up on the thoughts and emotions of people.

In one of the HUNA workshops I gave in Ontario last month; during one of the breaks one of the attendees told the story of a young guy coming to pick up their daughter for a date a few years ago. Well the family dog would not let the boyfriend enter the house. Three weeks later this young man was arrested for stealing from the company he worked for.

Every since then when they are hiring someone to work for them (baby sitting the grandchildren, working for their business, or to repair something at the home; they always invite the person over for a meeting and make sure the person is acceptable to the family dog.

Now to your question about her picking up on your thoughts ir implanting these thoughts.

1. Were you thinking along these lines before you said something? If the answer is yes; then she was picking up on your thoughts.

2. Did the thought just pop into your head when you were thinking about something else or not thinking of anything at all? If this answer is yes; this thought could be in one of three different categories.

a. you are becoming sensitive to your wife's thoughts.

b. it was an inspired idea that you both picked up.

c. it was implanted by someone or something else

Since this appears to be your wife's thoughts; I would say that it was in category a or b.

We have a staffordshire bull-terrier(which I forgot to mention in my other post), she is a very loving dog that is known to lick to death everyone she meets. Except there has been two people that she actually barked at instead of licking. Which is the only time she has ever barked(didn't even know she could bark till she met that first person). Although I don't have any proof that these were bad people we trusted her judgement and those two people were not invited back to our house.

Thank you Two Bears that does make sense to me. Thinking back I recall the idea just kinda popped into my head a few seconds before she spoke so I would think it was a category 2.a experience. Next time it happens, I'll try to pay closer attention to the origin and timing of the idea.

I'm always glad to help.

Have some fun with it and experiment with the real power of the mind.

I have the opinion that the mind is one of the most powerful tools on the planet.

Having read some of MFL books he spends some time discussing his workshops where everyone was getting to know their 'George'. I've been trying some of the things he mentions with my 10yr old son. He enjoys playing the telepathy game where we take turns to imagine a colour. The person guessing tells of the pictures/feelings he is getting. It's surprising how many time we get it right. An example was when I thought of blue; he saw boats and clouds (living on an island I guess the most blue we see on a daily basis are the sea and sky) and said blue?!

As 2B said - experimenting with the power of the mind can be a lot of fun.
