Your very welcome Two Bears!
I really enjoyed myself that night with you and Tiffany.

I just wanted you to know the drinks were appreciated.

For a while I thought you were going to blow a gasket at a "so called spiritual person" suggesting a drink.

There is a difference between using alcohol to relax (once in a while), and needing alcohol as a crutch to cope with reality.

I hope we get the chance to do that again...soon!

That is VERY possible. I plan to move to the Pacific North West in another four or five months, and finally I see me living in the south west (Colorado or Utah) in a few years.

Re: Hawaiian Magic!

Long time no type! It's good to be back. Life on my little Island here can sometimes be very hectic, and very intrusive. A short 'sanity break' to the real world, and a "Lewis Book" reading later I've the urge to come back. This was a great new thread.

quote:

Thanks, 2B for clarification. Lewis' book, which I'm reading at the moment, is very well-structured for a beginner to follow through, but it seems that, like I mentioned before, the long liturgy and prayers, which he wants us to memorize before we go on, truly wear my Unihipili out. It digged it at first, but got bored quite fast.

I've just finished the book, and would tend to agree. My Unihipili couldn't get enough of reading the content of the book. The long liturgy and prayers were hard work. After a while we realised that we could work through the book by rewording the content of the 'prayers' in a more modern fashion that was more comfortable to us all. I use the term 'us' as it seemed to be a joint decision made in the silence without no debate. It was quite an awesome moment following the exercises on getting your Unihipli to answer questions "immedately". It was one of the first questions I asked to which the answer was unequivocal.

As I said in another thread I replied to today - each of us learn in their own way, at their own pace. The key is to research, learn and read as much as possible, and take from that only what feels right to you. Let your 'selves' guide you. I've found in my short time with HUNA that if you are finding something difficult, boring or arduous - it's not the right way for you at that time. Look for another way through, there will always be one, and this site is the best way to find it.

Jax:

Thank you for confirming what I told Max; that the prayers and meditations in the book "Clearing Your Lifepath" are only guidelines, and do not need to be followed dogmaticaly.

The trick is to "just do it." Do the inner house cleaning so our outer life can transform into what it needs to be.

That's it exactly. "Just do it." is all you have to do. I spend my day 'listening' to my Unihipili, and now very rarely can't remember things, lose things etc. "Listen" to that 'crunch' you get inside, and ask why you have it. There is always a reason when your Unihipili catches your awareness like that.

Jax: I'm glad you liked my "just do it" approach.

It is not always pretty to look inside; but sometimes it is necessary.

Re: Hawaiian Magic!

Having put in my last post, I've been slowly unpacking my cases from our trip away, and have decided that my Unihipili is playing games with me now....I remember unpacking one item and putting it to one side so I didn't lose it... now I'm having a hard time recalling where that was!!emoticon

I have no doubt it will come to me soon.emoticon

I just came out of my 4th and final interview for the job I've been hoping for.. to be told it's mine to start as soon as I want. Looks like I'm off to work on Monday?!

Been there and done that. ;-) Just keep working on the relationship with your unihipili.

Just to keep you all in the picture - the item was my jewellery pouch with all my most treasured rings etc. My Unihipili had a great laugh with me over this, kept teasing me with little flashbacks of deliberately packing it somewhere safe where it would get lost if the bags were checked at the airport, to let me know that I hadn't left it on the hotel bed when I was packing (as my husband insisted), that it hadn't fallen out at the X-ray baggage check when the rummaged through (as my son suggested), but was in fact very safely put inside my MD holder emoticon emoticon emoticon

This morning over breakfast I felt compelled to wander over to where I had carelessly left the MD holder, and had a 'sudden recollection'. I had to chuckle and thought I'd share it with you all emoticon

Jax:

You just posted a great HUNA story demonstrating in how the unihipili and uhane interact together, and how the unihipili can play mind games with us from time to time.

Thank you very much for sharing the story with us.

Jax!
Now thats some HUNA magic for ya. It seems for me that I always come up with these great ideas for different projects and what not, It comes to mind when I'm lying awake in bed. When my Uhane has been working full time during the day then my Unihipili punches the time clock and starts his shift when I'm in la la land. Its when I wake up that I get these "Aha!" moments at around 3 in the morning
(not my usual wake up time) or when I'm just about ready to put my feet on the floor and start my day.
