Is the Silence really that important?

Most HUNA books talk about the Silence being one of the most crucial means to cummunicate among 3 selves. But the prayers and liturgy they suggested seem too long and contrived. In addition, if we clear our complexes and fixations through the method 2B advised, it almost seems we can do away with Silence.
    What do you think, 2B?

The silence is not the most important part of HUNA; but spending time in the silence is among the top five important things in HUNA.

The MOST important thing in HUNA is to clear the complexes and fixations from your unihipili (changing the way you think subconsciously)

Spending time in the silence greatly assists in strengethening the mental focus. The longer you can still the mind and focus on your goal like a laser beam; the longer you will be able to send mana to your goal.

Different people have different takes on complexes and fixations; and different people develop different techniques.

MFL recommended doing good deeds for others.

Clark Wilkerson recommended daily prayers.

Allan P. Lewis recommended meditations such as the pillar of light.

I developed the ritual to transfer the complex or fixation into a peice of paper and burn the paper, or into a rock then toss the rock into a stream or burry the rock in the dirt.

Charlotte Berney, and John Bainbridge recommended Vector counseling.

Back to my ritual; you can NOT use the ritual as described without spending time in the silence. When you breathe deeply to fill your body with mana; you are IN the silence, and you STAY in the silence until the complex or fixation has been transferred into the paper; then you come out of the silence and burn the paper.

I definitely felt my state of consciousness was slightly altered while doing your style(burning and burying) of clearing complexes and fixations, but didn't realize it was "Silence".
It then seems, we CAN get into the Silence without having to recite the liturgy as suggested by Lewis. Am I right?
If I am, how can we best get into the Silence normally when we don't have to 'clear', but simply needs to build mental focus?

So, the burning the paper method is your original then, 2B?

Yes; when you do the visualization, of filling your body with light, and transferring the complex or fixation into the paper; you are in a meditative state, and in a slight form of the silence.

ABSOLUTELY!

You need to understand that Mr. Lewis was teaching beginners who knew nothing about the silence OR HUNA, and that is the method he used to teach them.

If you want a quick method of getting into the silence; follow the liturgy as Lewis describes to go into the silence so deep that by mental suggestion "I will not be able to open my eyes", then try to open your eyes normally (do not try to force them open) when your eyes feel stuck; give yourself the suggestion "when I say the phrase "Peace. Peace. Peace: I will myself into the peace (or some code word of your choice); I will return to this level of the silence". Then count to 5 and return to your normal waking state.

Then reinforce your self suggestion by relaxing and saying "Peace. Peace. Peace. I will myself into the peace", or code word of preference; then suggest your eyes are stuck again. If they are. CONGRATS!. you can return to the silence any time by saying the code word or phrase.

Max: I have been meditating since I was 18 years old (31 years ago). I just listened for the sound of the nada, and drifted into the silence. I used to zip from the waking state to a very deep level of the silence in just 30-45 seconds.

Max: I have gone so deep into the silence that my brain has left beta (normal waking state), then gone through alpha and theta, and finally into the delta brainwave pattern.

It is a wild experience to be mentally awake; and your body completely asleep. snoring, and eyes jerking in REM sleep

quote:

If I am, how can we best get into the Silence normally when we don't have to 'clear', but simply needs to build mental focus?

You are responsible for the training of your own mind. so make your path into the silence the one that is easier for you to do.

Yes: that method of clearing complexes and fixations is an original method I developed.

I also coined the terms "Pule me mana", and "Spiritual technology" in 2000.

There are other original techniques that I developed in the website.

Re: Is the Silence really that important?

If I could choose my own method of Silence. Well, I've been practising Tibetan Buddhist way of calming the mind for quite some time now. I'm pretty comfortable with that, and it's effective. But the problem is that it hasn't been put to use as a conduit for communication among the Selves. Buddhism doesn't even have such a concept. And another thing is that this meditation technique is not breath-based like in HUNA.
All things considered, do you think it would be acceptable for me to use the Buddhist Way in the Silence's place?

Max:

Of course you can use the Tibetan Buddhist method to enter the silence.

After reaching the silence; then do the work you need to do in the silence.

Aloha!
Its been a little while since I posted.
If I might add...being in the "silence" or what I like to call meditation has MANY benefits(communicating with our unihipili and aumakua is one) and the use of the breath can make
going into the silence much easier. The breath is so closely linked to the brain that when we slowly breath from the Tan tien we can feel our whole physiology start to shift into a calm, centered state which helps us focus and become more aware. What a
feeling! I love this practice.

Our meeting in Ellensburg, Washington, probably had something to do with that, and I think I gave you a lot of stuff to think about after you returned home.

I sincerely hope you like the HUNA book you bought from me. I think it is the best book printed.

I agree completely the silence (meditation) has LOTS of positive benefits for the person.

Re: Is the Silence really that important?

I am currently working on the practices in the book, "clearing the lifepath" by Lewis.
Just finished today's session on 'sinful sex'. It was very powerful, indeed.
Thanks 2B. Though it is a little book, the information contained within it is just so dense that I can only digest less than 5 pages a day properly.
When I was doing the 'forgive and forget' exercise the other day, to be exact, both times on different people, tears were streaming down my face and I was so very moved. I never expected that I would have such an emotional reaction to the practice.
I just try not to overdo it lest my Unihipili gets bored and irritated.
HUNA is great and unbelievably powerful!

Good for you! HUNA has a way of transforming one's life.

HUNA IS powerful.

In my opinion; a focused mind is one of the most powerful forces on Earth.

Yes; it is a small book 157 pages; but it is VERY comprehensive.

I would recommend that you work through the book one chapter (or lesson) a week; so your life is completely transformed after 3 1/2 months.

This does NOT surprise me at all. I am sure that Jax would agree. She is working through that book.

You will not get any disagreements from me. HUNA gave me back my life.
