Annoying Coincidence, or.....

Hi everyone emoticon

This afternoon I went downtown to run some errands. I had just finished mailing some Christmas parcels when I spotted something that's related to/symbolic of something I'm working on in my Ha Rites. I decided to buy it, and went happily on my way.

When I got home and was unloading my bags and pockets, I realized I'd lost the item. I never lose things! As if that wasn't annoying enough, I suspect I lost it when I went into another store to buy some chocolate. I love chocolate, but suffice to say that food issues/guilt/weight (and all the other things that have managed to become tied up with those issues) are *very* tied in with eating treats like chocolate. I was so frustrated that I said out loud, "This is God's way of telling me I'm a huge pig!" (I wasn't being entirely rational, I admit, but I was very annoyed) My partner just raised an eyebrow and told me to get over it.

Is it an annoying coincidence that I lost something symbolic of what I'm trying to manifest in my Ha Rites, or is part of me trying to tell me something?! *L* emoticon

I am sorry you lost the item; but you should never berate your unihipili like this.

Behaviour such as this only widens the chasm between your uhane and unihipili.

You need to bring the uhane and unihipili into harmony instead saying things that make your unihipili feel badly.

When I lose things now I automatically laugh at myself and assume my Unihipili is playing games with me. I am alway content in the knowledge that it will be recovered before it becomes an issue, and I always 'remember' what I did with it. Instead of bemoaning the fact you lost something, next time have a laugh inside yourself, with yourself, and enjoy the game. The secret is not to push too hard to 'remember', and you find you probably will. emoticon

I agree! And Huna can help you find lost items too. For example, two days ago I lost my keys. I'd searched the house a few times, finally gave up went out for a walk in the forest to clear my head. I'd stopped and done a Ha Rite, seeing myself all happy with the keys in my hand, as soon as I got home from my walk.

Well, a few minutes after I got back I was putting my laundry away in the closet, when something "nudged" me to stick my hand into the pocket of an old ski jacket hanging there - and lo and behold, there were my keys! Holy Huna! emoticon

I understand the ways of my Unihipili better now too. A couple years ago I was in the habit of always leaving my keys in the pocket of that favorite old ski jacket. Since then though, I've acquired a couple other coats and my keys are commonly found elsewhere ... unless I'm totally distracted by the phone like I was the other night, standing at the closet in sight of that old jacket, keys in hand.

The way I see it, my Unihipili had most "helpfully" and "automatically" acted out the old habit with those keys. And my poor Uhane, totally absorbed by the phone conservation, was left with no conscious memory of where I'd put them.

OH what a piece of Work we are, aren't we? emoticon

VERY great! Unfortunately 99.9% of the rest of humanity never even see a glimmer of what the human mind, body, and spirit are capable of.

Young children experience it; but that spark is all but put out by the indoctrination of their parents or guardians, and the rest of society at large.

I'm trying the best with my two. They don't totally understand it all, but they now take for granted the fact that they have three selves. They also understand that you can influence things by what you say to yourself, your expectations, and how you treat yourself, and others emoticon

Good for you. You are halfway there.

Help them see and remove the complexes and fixations, then WATCH OUT WORLD.
