Re: Welcome to the Crystal forum.

[I carried a pouch full of rocks and slept with them under my pillow for at least a year, on Two Bear's recommendation. They did help to strengthen my aura, but they did not help me one iota to overcome my deep-seated fear of negative energies/entities etc. That fear had been keeping me open and vulnerable to negative psychic influence of all kinds for years. And the crystals became a crutch I felt I could not do without.
--------

Sounds like your involvement with crystals wasn't much fun. I've been there too, not with crystals, but with religious rituals. The fear-driven obsessive behavior saps one's energy and the energy of those around as well. I work with crystals because I enjoy looking at them, handling them, making wearable art with them, but I hope if I ever get obsessive about it I'll have the guts to put down the duckie!
--------

Till last summer, when 10 minutes of healing work with a qualified practitioner using kinesiology (plus my follow-up use of affirmations and Huna techniques) 'located' and identified that fear and cleared it away for good. Within 2 weeks I realized, most happily, that I can now go anywhere, be with anyone I please and suffer no ill effects - even without carrying that pouch of rocks.
--------

Cool! I been loking into kinestheology (sp?) and it seems most of the methods I've run across require two peopple, the tester and the testee you might say. Also I've seen a few methods that one can do on oneself but havn't been able to get these to work consistently, yet. I guess that's another thing to learn in 2B's workshops?
--------

It's been quite the relief not having to always wear clothes with big pockets or carry a medicine bag, to wear a necklace or other crystal jewelry only because I WANT to - and not because I'm afraid of what will happen to me if I don't. It's wonderful to be finally free of that debilitating fear!
--------

Not to mention being free of having to carry around a bunch of rocks! They were indeed emblematic.
--------

Yes, crystals DO work! And it's also true that "protection" of any kind is needed only until you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you don't really need any form of external protection at all. Because a healthy human aura is truly inviolable, and all the protection you'll ever need.

At least, that's my experience to date!

Aloha nui loa,

daylia

No, it wasn't much fun at all. It was a daily pain in the wardrobe that became quite the burden/obsession. I never considered that this kind of behaviour can drain the energy of the people around one as well. I'll ponder this - so thanks!

  Also. one must be careful WHERE to wear which rocks. For instance, I can't have moldavite near my heart or my solar plexus. Moldavite has a very strong electrical charge. If I wear it over my chest (in a necklace or pouch) I get heart palpitations, a uncomfortable 'jumpy' nervous feeling and/or burning in the solar plexus. It's a wonderful strengthening stone, but I have to carry it in a hip/back pocket or not at all.

Re Kinesiology - no, 2B has not covered this in his workshops to date. It's not a Huna technique per se, but it can be VERY useful for pinpointing "complexes and fixations". Muscle testing works via the Unihipili or body consciousness - and the body cannot lie!

There are a few requirements for kinesiology to work properly though;

* Test situation must be free of any distractions;

* Tester and Testee must both be at the level of integrity (spiritual truth, love)and emotionally detached (ie objective) about the outcome;

* The question itself must be at the level of integrity (ie purpose/intentions of the testers must serve the greatest good of all, not just the self - AND of course it must not violate the spiritual laws of non-interference etc).

LIke you, I have yet to achieve consistent results using it alone. Finding a suitable test partner is a challenge too. BUt in a hands of a qualified therapist/practitioner AND when all the conditions for success are met, I've found AK (applied kinesiology) to be an excellent means of discovering the truth.

Aloha nui loa,

daylia

PS JUst to let you all know, 2B is offline for a few days due to computer problems. He'll be back soon!

Staurolite!

I have run across several pieces of staurolite. This is a mineral that crystalises at 30, 60, and 90 degree angles, sometimes including something resembling a christian cross. The story says, they are the tears of the fairies, shed when the fairies heard of Jesus' death. An alternative form of the story says that the fairies wept because they knew that the religion -about- Jesus would supercede the religion -of- Jesus, and would sweep away many good earth traditions. So this stone would be helpful in detecting and clearing complexes and fixations connected with christianity.

Re: Welcome to the Crystal forum.

Aloha,

I recently bought "Love Is In The Earth: A Kaleidoscope of Ctystals" by Melody and should receive that soon.

As a head start on crystals I also bought a Tiger's Eye bracelet. What is the proper method to cleanse this crystal/mineral?

As 2B said in a review:
a. smudging them in the smoke of a purifying herb or incense.
>>>>>>>I don't know about burning herbs..but when suggesting incense...would a burning candle with incense work? a few seconds/minutes?

b. placing the crystals in sunlight.
>>>>>This is pretty straight forward...just let it sit there for a few minutes.

c. burrying them in the ground so the negative energies can be transmuted.
>>>>>>>How long should they be buried? A few minutes/hours? maybe overnight?

Thanks in advance.

The report of my death has been greatly exaggerated.

"Love Is In The Earth:...." is one of the best books on crystals.

Never EVER use salt water

Here are some good ways.

Put them in a sunny window sill for an hour or two. Do not use this methodon Amethysts and others that will fade.

Pass them through the smoke of white sage, Frankinsence incense or copal incense.

Cleanse them under running water.

The best way to do this is bury them in a flower pot for a day or two.

The reason I was AWOL is that five years ago when I moved cross country I closed down my old E-Mail address two_bears@mindspring.com, and I no longer received norices when someone replied so for 4.5 years I went through my own website to get here. I just recently stumbled across the URL so I'm back. Even though I will be moving to New Mexico in 3-4 months.
